Three Cups of Tea Day
I got to visit all the classes on our first Three Cups of Tea Day. I saw lots of interesting things going on: kids getting dressed in high tech gear for mountain climbing; bulbs being planted in the front flower gardens; lots of kids exploring Pakistan on Google Earth; students breathing through straws after hiking outside; groups drinking hot tea; games of cricket in the gym; videos and reading all over the school. It all looked great to me. What did you think?

It's a Whole New Year!
Summer's over - Don't we all wish it could last forever? But we're moving on, and there's a new Buzz here at Mahoney. It's all about the new MacBook laptops that all the 7th and 8th graders and teachers have, and that the 6th grade will be using on laptop carts soon. Check in with your part of the buzz by clicking on Comments and telling what you think of the new year with new laptops.

Thursday April 16
Today was a half day with vacation starting at noon. Each grade did a special project for the day. What did you think of the project work you did? Is this a good way to learn? If we do it again, what would you change to improve it?
